Deep in the heart of a lush, vibrant jungle, there lived a tiny monkey named Momo. Momo wasn’t the biggest or the strongest monkey in his troop, but he was by far the most curious. Every day, he would scamper through the treetops, leaping from branch to branch, poking his nose into everything new and shiny. He was always eager to explore, always asking questions, and never afraid of a little mischief. But one day, Momo’s curiosity got him into more trouble than he could handle.
That morning, the sun filtered gently through the dense canopy, casting golden patches of light on the forest floor. Momo had noticed something unusual—a faint glimmer between two large, moss-covered rocks. His tiny heart raced with excitement. What could it be? A hidden treasure? A special fruit? Without thinking twice, he scampered down from his tree and squeezed himself between the rocks to investigate.
What Momo hadn’t realized was just how narrow the space between those rocks really was. He wiggled and squirmed his way in, but as he tried to reach further toward the mysterious glimmer, he suddenly found himself stuck. His arms and legs were pinned tightly, and no amount of twisting or turning seemed to help. Panic began to rise in his chest as he realized he couldn’t move backward or forward.
Momo’s little yelps for help echoed through the jungle. His monkey friends, who had been swinging nearby, heard his cries and quickly gathered around. They tried pulling his tail gently, then tugging on his tiny legs, but it was no use—Momo wouldn’t budge. The elder monkeys shook their heads, muttering about how Momo’s curiosity had once again landed him in trouble.
Just when things seemed hopeless, a wise old parrot named Paco fluttered down from the trees. Paco had seen many strange things in his long life, and he knew the jungle inside and out. He peered down at Momo, his sharp eyes twinkling with amusement and concern.
“Ah, young one,” Paco said. “You’ve wedged yourself in quite the pickle. But don’t fret. Sometimes, when you get yourself into trouble, you can’t force your way out. You’ve got to think small, be patient, and find the right angle.”
Listening carefully, Momo took a deep breath. Instead of struggling, he relaxed his body, letting himself go limp. Slowly and carefully, he shifted bit by bit, angling his tiny shoulders just so, moving inch by inch. Finally, after what felt like forever, he wriggled free and tumbled out onto the soft jungle floor.
The other monkeys cheered, and Momo gave Paco a grateful smile. Though he had gotten himself into big trouble, he had also learned an important lesson: curiosity was wonderful, but sometimes, slowing down and thinking through a problem was the smartest move.

From that day on, Momo kept exploring, but he was a little more careful—and a lot better at getting himself out of sticky situations. After all, even tiny monkeys can find big wisdom.
